Terms of Business

These terms of business set out the basis on which Finance for Homes Limited will provide financial and mortgage advice to you as an individual / private client of the firm.

These Terms of Business are correct as at 01/01/2020 and will apply until further notice.

Finance for Homes Limited is authorized and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland in relation to the sale of mortgages.


Finance for Homes Limited holds a written appointment with the following mortgage lenders:

 

  • ICS Mortgages 
  • Brokers Ireland 
  • Permanent TSB
  • KBC
  • Finance Ireland 
  • Haven

 


Finance for Homes Limited is entitled to receive a commission for placing the business with the lender (between 0.5% and 1% of the mortgage amount from the mortgage lender). Our mortgage advisors show no bias toward a particular lender / lenders”. 


It is the policy of Finance for Homes Limited to avoid any conflict of interest when providing business services. However, where an unavoidable conflict may arise, we will advise you of this in writing before proceeding to provide any business service. If you have not been advised of any such conflict, you are entitled to assume that none arises.


In the unlikely event you have a complaint in relation to the business service provided, this should be made in writing to Finance for Homes Limited outlining the nature of the complaint. The complaint will be fully investigated by Finance for Homes Limited and a full response will be provided to you. We will aim to provide this response no later than 28 days from receipt of your complaint. If you remain dissatisfied with the firm’s handling of and response to your complaint, you are entitled to refer your complaint to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman at Lincoln House, Lincoln Place, Dublin 2, D02 VH29.
